Had our appointment today. Our new doctor is alright. My sister also goes to her and she forwarned me about her being a little harsh. She didn't actually seem harsh to me, but very "to the point" We had what I imagine will be a routine checkup. Took my HB, they did a gloucose test, the weighed me and we got to hear the heartbeat with a doppler device. Its good to know that the baby is doing well after our scare. The doctor assures me that the SCH will resolve itself in a few weeks. Luckily I have had no more spotting. She did an internal exam and all looks good.

Got a call from my doctors office. We were scheduled to for our next appointment tomorrow on Oct. 2nd. It turns out our doctor had to retire suddenly. We received a letter a couple of weeks later stating that the cost of liability insurance drove him to call it quits. I was very upset over this. Not only because I didn't want to change doctors, but also because this is going on way to much. This could be the sign of the times, but we will soon not have enough OB/GYN doctors in practice. Something should be done about it. We are now scheduled for Monday Oct. 4th with a new doctor.
