Just got back from my appointment. I am happy to report that I have only gained 1/2 pound. The doctor didn't even bring it up. My blood pressure is good at 110/70. Sugar is fine. Baby's heart beat was 147. I had a list of questions with me.I asked about my pulled muscle, she said to take it easy. I asked for an OK to join the Moms in Motion class. I asked if it was OK to take a vacation in January. She said it was OK till about 30 weeks. My doctor recommended two different hospitals to take classes at. She said that it is never too early to take them. I asked about sleeping on your left side vs right side. She said it didn't matter as long as it way on your sides. I told her about the baby movement. But the best part of the appointment was that I finally got to schedule my (as Brittany would put it) Kickstand Sonogram. I have an appointment this Friday at 10:15am. Hope the baby cooperates. I am very thrilled and looking forward to it.

The weirdest thing happened. The baby seemed to flutter for a long time, probably about 20 secs. It was enough time to call Mike over and he was able to feel it too.

I started feeling the baby this week. It seems a little early, but it doesn't surprise me. I have been very in tune with my body since TTC. At this point I feel it every once in a while. I know it will get stronger as time passes.

Went to the doctors appointment. I gained 3 pounds. The doctor was not happy with me. I know I've been eating really bad lately, but it was a reality check. I don't want to gain too much weight...it will be harder to lose it later. Plus I want our little one to get the best possible. So, I'm going to eat well and excersise a little more this month. Our next appointment is on Nov. 29th. Right after thanksgiving. I'll make it a goal to not gain too many pounds even after a big meal. We heard the heartbeat again at 162. It sounded really strong. I'm very bummed that we are not going to do the big ultrasound till after thanksgiving. Our doctor wants to wait to 20 weeks. She is going to schedule us after our next appointment.
